Atelier'7 Architects designed this 70 unit building on the south side of Chicago for senior living. The first floor is mostly retail with the top three floors reserved for residences. Five versions were compared before deciding on this one.

Glencoe, IL - Tara Designer Homes

Overview:

Tara Designer Homes designed and built this breathtaking lakeside home in Glencoe, IL. Every one of the five bedrooms has its own private balcony, and the third floor entertainment area was purposefully elevated high enough to provide a clear view of the lake.

Chicago, IL - Atelier'7 Architects

Overview:

Atelier'7 Architects designed this eight unit Chicago apartment building. Surrounding buildings were "ghosted" to give a sense of space without drawing attention away from the central focus. A special lens effect allowed for a shortened depth of field, placing additional attention on the building.

Yas Architecture designed this contemporary house as one of 14 other units in The Pointe development community located in Highland Park, IL. This rear view, along with a front view, were used in all the sales materials during construction.

Atelier'7 Architects designed this renovation of a 1970's church in Chicago, IL. The core structure would remain the same, but a complete facelift and a small addition gave wonderful new life and spirit to the drab exterior.

Atelier'7 Architects designed this 80 unit apartment building located on the south side of Chicago, IL. The first floor held all retail space with the residences built on the upper floors. Three cutouts from the overall spacial mass created four towers with more natural light and second floor courtyards for residents.
